Spring Has Officially Arrived at EPCOT — And It IS Beautiful!

If you’ve never experienced EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival, you’re missing one of the best (and most underrated) events Walt Disney World puts on all year. The 2026 festival runs from March 4 through June 1, and the best part? It’s completely included with your regular EPCOT admission. No upcharge, no separate ticket required!

Between the stunning character topiaries and over 20 outdoor kitchen food booths scattered throughout the park, there is genuinely so much to take in. Here’s everything you need to know before you go!

What Is the Flower & Garden Festival?

The festival transforms EPCOT every spring with elaborate floral displays, over 60 character topiaries, seasonal food and drink offerings, and nightly live entertainment. It’s been a Walt Disney World tradition since 1994 and gets bigger and more impressive every year. Whether you’re a hardcore foodie, a garden enthusiast, or just looking for a fun reason to visit the park, there is something here for everyone.

The Outdoor Kitchens

The outdoor kitchen booths are the heart of the festival experience. Think of them as the Flower & Garden version of the Food & Wine Festival booths — small plates, fresh seasonal flavors, and drinks that lean hard into spring ingredients. With over 20 booths scattered throughout the park, most items running between $5 and $10, it’s easy to graze your way around World Showcase without completely wrecking your budget.

Booths are open 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM Tuesday through Thursday, and 11 AM to 9 PM Friday through Monday. A brand-new booth called Nectar is making its debut this year, so keep an eye out for that one as you make your way around!

The Topiaries

This is honestly one of the most magical parts of the whole festival and something people underestimate until they see it in person. Over 60 character topiaries are placed throughout the park, each one meticulously crafted from live plants. This year features a brand-new Princess Tiana topiary at The American Adventure Pavilion alongside returning favorites like Mickey, Minnie, Bambi, and many more. Budget some extra time to find them all; it’s basically a free scavenger hunt built into your visit!

Tips for Making the Most of the Festival

Go on a weekday. Flower & Garden is a huge local favorite, so weekends fill up fast. Tuesday through Thursday is your sweet spot for a relaxed, crowd-light experience.
Pace yourself at the booths. With 20+ options it’s tempting to go hard early, but save room to explore — some of the best stuff is tucked away later in World Showcase.
Grab your Festival Passport at the entrance so you’re set up for the Garden Graze from the moment you walk in.
Don’t rush past the topiaries. They’re scattered everywhere and each one is genuinely impressive up close.
Check the concert schedule in advance so you can time your World Showcase loop to end near the America Gardens Theatre for the show.

The Bottom Line

EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival is one of the best deals in all of Walt Disney World every spring. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the entertainment is free, and the food booths give you a reason to spend the whole day wandering World Showcase. Everything We Loved About Universal Mardi Gras 2026

Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras is one of the most underrated annual events in theme park history. It runs for weeks, it’s included with park admission, and it delivers a genuine festival atmosphere that’s hard to replicate anywhere else. We spent time soaking in the whole thing and put together the best of what Universal Mardi Gras 2025 had to offer!

What Is Universal Mardi Gras?

Universal Mardi Gras is an annual seasonal event at Universal Studios Florida that celebrates the spirit of New Orleans’ famous festival. It typically runs from February through April and includes nightly parades, live concerts, special food and drinks, and themed entertainment throughout the park.

The best part? It’s all included in your standard park admission! No upcharge, no separate ticket; just show up and enjoy.

The Parade

The Mardi Gras parade is the centerpiece of the whole event. Massive floats roll through the park every night loaded with performers throwing beads to the crowd. The energy is genuinely electric, especially as the sun goes down and the whole thing gets lit up!

Pro tip: Get to your spot along the parade route at least 30 to 45 minutes early if you want a good view. The crowds build up fast and the good spots go quick.

The Food

Every year Universal brings in a rotating lineup of Mardi Gras-inspired food and drinks, and 2025 did not disappoint. Beignets are a perennial favorite (fresh, powdery, and dangerously easy to eat three of). The specialty cocktails and frozen drinks leaned into classic New Orleans flavors and were a highlight of the event.

Food booths are scattered throughout the park, so budget some extra time (and stomach space) to explore!

The Concerts

Included with admission, the Mardi Gras concert series brings in a real lineup of artists performing on the main stage. The concerts happen nightly and the vibe is pure festival. Even if the artist isn’t someone you know, the atmosphere makes it worth sticking around!

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Mardi Gras

Go on a weeknight. Weekends get packed. A Tuesday or Wednesday visit will get you shorter lines and a better experience overall.
Check the concert schedule in advance. The Universal app and website post the lineup for the season, so plan your visit around an artist you actually want to see.
Eat your way through it. Don’t just grab one thing. The variety of food is part of the fun!
Bring a bag for your beads. You will end up with more than you expect.

If you’ve never ridden Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida (or if it’s been a few years), you’re in for a treat. This classic indoor roller coaster has been thrilling guests since 2004, and somehow it still hits just as hard as the day it opened. We took a full ride POV so you can see exactly what you’re getting into before you go!

What Is Revenge of the Mummy?

Revenge of the Mummy is a Universal thrill ride based on the classic Mummy film franchise starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. It blends a dark indoor roller coaster with special effects, fake-outs, and some genuinely creepy atmospheres. The combination of speed, darkness, fire effects, and unexpected drops makes it one of the most re-rideable rides at Universal Studios Florida.

It’s not the tallest or fastest ride in the park, but it consistently ranks as one of the most fun, and that’s because the theming does the heavy lifting.

What to Expect on the Ride

The experience starts in a creepy queue that sets the mood perfectly with movie props and ominous warnings. Once you board, things get tense fast. The ride uses darkness and misdirection brilliantly; just when you think it’s over, it isn’t!

Highlights include a backwards launch, sudden drops in complete darkness, and a ceiling of fire that catches first-timers completely off guard. The ride clocks in around 3 minutes and hits a top speed of about 45 mph.

Tips Before You Ride

Ride early or late. This ride draws consistent crowds throughout the day. Hit it first thing when the park opens or in the last hour before close.
Use the Single Rider line. It moves fast and cuts your wait time significantly.

We love Halloween nights and fireworks as much as the next Disney fans, but there’s something extra magical about fall days in the parks — that in-between moment when the weather kind of cools off, the pumpkin spice starts flowing, and the parks feel more relaxed.

Here’s where we go when we want to soak in the cozy side of Disney.

Magic Kingdom: Main Street in the Morning

There’s nothing like the smell of Main Street Bakery, the sight of pumpkin wreaths, and the sound of Dapper Dansharmonizing as the sun hits the castle. Bonus points for a Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand.

EPCOT: The World Showcase in Golden Hour

EPCOT in the evening is pure fall aesthetic. Grab a croissant from Les Halles or a beer from Germany, and find a quiet spot along the lagoon to watch the sky turn orange.

Hollywood Studios: Sunset Boulevard at Dusk

The neon glow of Hollywood Boulevard feels cinematic year-round, but during fall it’s next-level cozy — maybe it’s the mix of jazz music and popcorn smell.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue by the Water

Cool breeze, smoky barbecue, and the faint roar of Expedition Everest in the distance — this is our go-to chill spot.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind isn’t just EPCOT’s first Marvel ride — it’s basically a rock concert on wheels. Each ride is paired with one of six classic songs, and as someone who's ridden it… a lot, I have some opinions.

6. Everybody Wants to Rule the World — Tears for Fears

Great song, but feels more like a sunset drive than a galactic chase.

5. Conga — Gloria Estefan

Fun and chaotic, but doesn’t sync perfectly with the big drops.

4. One Way or Another — Blondie

Matches Star-Lord's attitude, but not as epic on the final turn.

3. I Ran — A Flock of Seagulls

Synthy and dramatic, fits the space vibe well.

2. Disco Inferno — The Trammps

High-energy, funky, perfect for the launch.

And coming as a surprise to absolutely NO one:

1. September — Earth, Wind & Fire

The perfect ride song. Joyful energy, timed perfectly with the twists and turns around the galaxy.
